An ode to the power of nature – Lib Tech’s new Dynamo board ticks every box for stronger all mountain riders looking to ride the whole mountain but really step it up in the backcountry: aggressive, versatile and packed with performance.
Utilising Lib Tech’s ‘Banana Technology’, the Dynamo features the C3 Camber. A mild rocker between the feet, combined with more powerful cambers at the nose and tail. The cambers will give you a little extra pop when cruising through the park or hitting pillows, whilst the mild rocker will get the keep some of the board’s looser and floatier characteristics.

If you feel inspired by the artwork on the board and want to take it out to the backcountry, the slightly set back stance will create some extra surface area in the nose keep you afloat in the deep. Whilst relatively intermediate flex will give you some extra support when making turns, without hindering any freestyle tweakability.
Constructed in the USA, the Dynamo uses Lib Tech’s ‘Original Power Construction’ to give you some extra oomph around the mountain. This utilises eco-friendly Aspen and Paulownia to create a lightweight board that can hold its strength in any environment, alongside one of their fastest, yet low maintenance, bases.
And as you’d come to expect with a Lib deck, it’s specced out with their serrated Magne-Traction to offer increased contact and grip along its edge.
The Dynamo isn’t going to be everyone’s friend, and you’ll have to earn its respect first. But for riders who like to show a board who’s boss and take charge of the whole mountain, this should be a serious contender for the season.
