The Lime Lite is always ready for action, freestyle focused but with an all mountain spin, this is a board for a rider who wants something to keep up with them.

It’s got a ‘best of both worlds’ profile, with camber in the middle to give you that extra pop you’ll be looking for when you’re razzing around through the park. It’ll also give you a bit more stability that you’ll appreciate whilst you’re picking up speed on piste.

The twin shape leaves you with the option to be a complete freestyle machine when you want to be. You’ll have the benefit of an equal swing weight when spinning, and you’ll be able to land switch without suffering.

Rocker in the nose and tail mellows the board out more and stops it from being so catchy so you’ll get a bit of leeway when you’re regretting that extra schnapps from the night before.

To add some extra sauce K2 have included Carbon Torque Forks in the nose and tail. These rods go from outside the inserts to the contact points to give you increased response and control from the board.

Biax fibreglass leaves the board with a forgiving and consistent flex and doesn’t add much weight. Finished off with a high-quality sintered base, you’ll be cruising mach 10 all day with ease.

Tester’s Verdict

Stella PenttiWhitelines

“I honestly had no idea what to expect from this board in terms of, well anything. So, once we hit the piste, I was very pleasantly surprised. Turned out, this was a board just to my liking – a freestyle friendly jib board made to have fun with. Sadly, I only got to try this one on the piste but could definitely see it as a fun board to play around in the park with too.

“The Lime Lite is made to have a good time with”

If you see the mountain as a big playground, with endless opportunities for fun, then this is definitely a board for you. Hitting any odd side hits, cruising through tiny tree lines on the side of the piste and doing flat tricks on the slopes is more or less what this board was made for – the Lime Lite is made to have a good time with.

It wasn’t the most stable board I’ve ever  been on, as you’d expect from a jib board, but the edge hold was really good on this one. Even if I felt a bit wobbly at times, I didn’t lose control, so charging down the piste without fearing you’ll end up eating shit was definitely very doable.”
