The hard shell of the Haakon bib is made out of bio-sourced polyester, meaning Picture has used sugarcane by-products unsuitable for human consumption to produce it. By choosing this as the fabric, the brand is helping to wipe out fossil fuels from the manufacturing process.
The bio-sourced shell isn’t just delivering in terms of sustainability, its 20K waterproof and breathability rating also makes it a durable option for you to tackle more than one season in. These pants keep snow and water from getting in, while also making sure sweat can evaporate out into the environment. If you’re worried about getting cold, a 40g insulation has been added to the Picture Haakon bibs. And, if things start to get too toasty you can always open the up the vents inside the thighs.
