New for this season, FW’s introducing the durable and sustainably produced Catalyst 2L jacket snowboard jacket to their line. As a result of this, they are, it could be argued, helping to make the outerwear industry a little bit greener (we’ll explain why in a moment).

For the fabric, FW’s chosen to use recycled yarn. The waterproof fabric has a cotton-like appearance, but is also highly technical. As for the insulation, they’ve used Primaloft’s Black Insulation Eco (60g), which isn’t just bluesign approved but also made out of 80% post-consumer recycled materials. Primaloft as a brand is also known for their exceptional quality, meaning you won’t just be purchasing a jacket with an eco-friendly insulation, but also one that is ultra-durable and does the job.

Made to withstand the harshest of conditions, FW’s Catalyst jacket has also got some nice additional features going for it.
