Being wrapped in the Eivy Redwood Sherpa Fleece is like being wrapped inside a cloud in the sense that once you’ve zipped in, you won’t be wanting to come out of it anytime soon. The design is a bit heavier the typical snowboard mid-layer fleece, however, it looks (approximately) five times better meaning you won’t just be wanting to wear this on the mountain.
Upgraded for 20/21, Eivy’s added their signature leopard print to their Sherpa Fleece line and zipped pockets that’ll prevent you from losing your stuff (you know what pockets do). If you’re not feeling the leopard print by the way, not to worry as there are plenty of one-coloured options to choose from.

When choosing a good mid-layer, you want to steer away from cotton as it’s not that breathable. Fleece on the other hand, despite its heaviness, lets the moisture escape – meaning you won’t be baking on the inside. The material retains heat by removing moisture, resulting in you feeling more comfortable throughout the day.
Increasing their certified recycled polyester for each season, the Sherpa Fleece is made with 22% recycled polyester (as if we couldn’t love Eivy enough already). Their goal is to be as eco-friendly as possible, and by constantly evaluating available fabrics and new technologies Eivy is doing their best to keep on top of things.
Driven by minimalism, Eivy hasn’t gone overboard with features but instead focused on adding just the right ones. How does mesh lining, thumb loops, an extended back length, YKK zippers and a woven Eivy chest label sound?
This isn’t your most technical mid-layer fleece as it comes as a bit heavier and bulkier than most. However, if you’re in the market for an extremely comfortable and soft zipped fleece that you can wear on its own on a sunny spring day or simply as part of your everyday outfit, the Eivy Redwood Sherpa Fleece is a versatile choice.
