Melon’s signature goggles, the Chief are a favourite with our team. When Melon Optics decided to enter the snowboard goggle game this is what they threw out, and they’ve been around since. The Chief’s are the biggest goggles you can find within the Melon line and the lens makes sure to cover everything within both your horizontal and vertical range.

We all know what a hassle it can be when your goggles fog up after only a couple of runs in powder. Well, the guys over at Melon know that as well as we do, so they’ve placed the foam inside the venting system to block out snow, allow airflow and ultimately prevent condensation from building up.

Melon have teamed up with ZEISS on previous models to provide their customers with top quality lenses. This season the two have gone even further, and Melon have now introduced their new ZEISS Sonar lens, which provides you with an even clearer and more precise vision.

As for any of Melon goggles, the Chief’s also come with Melon’s switchfast strap system, which as you might have guessed, allows you to change your strap quickly and smoothly. If you’re keen to match your goggles with your new outfit, simply buy a new strap and that’s that.
