Why we chose the Ride C10 Snowboard Bindings: Brand new and better than ever, you’re in for the ride of your life
After a complete overhaul of their bindings for 2020/21, the Ride catalogue now reads like a weird game of battleships; C6, A4, BOOM! All jokes aside, it’s actually a much more streamlined system. You choose which chassis you want, C-Series or A-Series, and then pick how stiff you want them to be. Nice and easy. The Ride C10 is the mac daddy of the bunch, the stiffest and most performance oriented of its C-Series brethren, and it’s one of our favourite new additions to the market this season.
The A-Series has an aluminium baseplate for maximum precision and power, while the C-Series uses polycarbonate for a little bit of extra dampening and flex. The C10 uses the same forged aluminium heelcup as the more expensive A-Series, but with the composite tray underfoot.

If you want a super responsive binding but prefer a little bit more flexibility and board feel, then the C10 is the way to go. To mark it out as the big dog, Ride beef it up by injecting 20% short-glass into the nylon composite baseplate. It’s still smoother than the A-Series, but it’s more responsive that its C-Series counterparts.
