Remember when you first saw someone rocking the Airblaster Ninja Suit in the Apres and all you could think about what a hassle it must be when you need to visit the lavatories? Well, 10 odd years have passed since we first laid eyes on it and Airblaster, well, they’ve got that lavatory issued well and truly nailed as this is still one of our favourite base-layers around.
The front fly allows for a quick and easy solution when you’ve got to empty the bladder, whilst the 350-degree waist zip comes in handy when you need to empty something heavier.
“Airblaster’s also taken care of the ventilation by using Air-Tech fabric, making the suit more breathable”
However, the quick and easy lavatory access isn’t the only reason Airblaster’s Ninja Suit has been around for nearly fifteen years now. A lot, and we mean a lot, of work has gone into developing it into the product it is today.
The 4-way stretch fabric makes the suit easy and comfortable to move around in, whilst the fitted hood has a chin protector to prevent the zipper from scratching your face. Airblaster’s also taken care of the ventilation by using Air-Tech fabric, making the suit more breathable.
Instead of risking the suit getting loose around the waist, Airblaster’s also added a waistband drawcord which you can adjust according to how tight you want the suit to sit around the waist. The thumb loops at the cuffs also keep the sleeves in place when you bend down to strap into your bindings.
While possessing all the necessary attributes you’d expect from a solid base-layer the Classic Ninja Suit’s also got some pretty rad colourways going for it. This year’s eye-catcher is definitely the pink Austen Sweet Hot Coral model, but if pretty in pink isn’t your thing there’s also a nice Pizza pattern to pick.
The model in the photo is 5’8” (173cm) tall and wearing size M.
