GoPole Scenelapse

The GoPole Scenelapse device is a simple but highly effective way of creating panning time-lapse shots using your GoPro. Spicing up your edits with a park overview or a sunset is easy with this thing.

Technology-wise it seems to be about as complicated as an egg-timer, but don’t let that put you off. The clips it produces are as smooth as they come – with clear markers for 90°(15 min), 180°(30 min), 270°(45 min) and 360° (60 min) rotations. The only limitation is that the unit only rotates in one direction (anti-clockwise).

If you’re wondering whether you can use other devices as well as your GoPro with this, you can rest easy as the GoPro mount twists off to reveal the standard ¼” screw on top of the device. And connecting to a tripod is a doddle with the ¼” insert on the underside.
