For once, Kickstarter has come up good twice in the same week! The other day we had a preview of the Gnarbox which, despite a few negative comments from readers, we’re very excited about. Now we’ve heard tell of this: the Spivo, a swivelling selfie stick.

Alright, so it’s not a technological advance that will be remembered for decades to come, but given the proliferation of GoPro poles and selfie sticks in your average resort these days we’re sure there’ll be some interest in this.

Despite a name that makes it sound like it’s for beating new students at Eton with, it’s essentially a stick that swaps between ‘follow cam’ and ‘selfie’ modes with the press off a button . Goodbye derp face and hello friend’s arse shots! You can find out more about it on the Spivo Kickstarter here.
