SHRED. relaunches their brand after 13 years in the business

Not more than 24h ago SHRED. (Shred Optics) announced the relaunch of their brand.

Sometimes we all need to reflect on our past in order to make the future a better place and this is exactly what the guys at SHRED. have been doing – taking those lessons learnt from the past and implementing them to the future of the brand.

“Sometimes we all need to reflect on our past in order to make the future a better place and this is exactly what the guys at SHRED. have been doing”

Yesterday, SHRED. who already has managed to build up quite an impressive crew of riders ( Kevin Backstrom, Antti Autti, Cheryl Maas and Nicholas Wolken), announced the relaunch of their brand.

Elena Koenz, team rider SHRED.

What does this relaunch mean then? Well basically, SHRED. will be focusing more on the actual customer, by listening to what they have to say and adjusting their product accordingly. The other major thing following this relaunch is that their sister brand Slytech will now more or less merge into SHRED. Products such as back protectors, gloves, pads, guards and body protectors that wore the name Slytech will now bear the SHRED. logo.

Slytech is known for its strong focus on technology, and through this relaunch, SHRED. will now be representing the same ethos. This doesn’t mean Slytech will stop existing, but they’ll no longer be a brand of their own, but an ingredient brand for SHRED.

“Products, as in back protectors, gloves, pads, guards and body protectors, wearing the name Slytech will now go under the name SHRED.”

We are all excited to see the results of this relaunch. If you can’t wait to get your hands on the new SHRED. products, go and get yourself a pair of goggles or a back-protector from SHRED.
