[series align=’left’] The Big B is here – Burton Snowboards swung by our stand at ISPO 2015 to enlighten us to what they’ve been working on for the last 12 months. Chris Patsch, the Burton Brand Manager sat down with Henry Jackson on the sofa to drop some knowledge.
Burton opened a European office in Innsbruck, Austria back in 1985 to support Euro operations and to snap up the hottest talent from the continent. Extending out to the east, Burton began a distributor model in Japan in 1994, identifying the country as a hotspot for young rippers.
In recent times Burton Snowboards have refocused on their core line as well as expanding product lines like backpacks, clothing and other accessories.
This time Chris talks us through the collaboration with Gwen Stefani – they’ve collaborated before, and now it’s back for a 2016 line. We also swung by their show in Munich – which was separate from the ISPO hubbub this year – and got a preview of their other lines.
