Check out a few of the bangers from last Friday’s first Olympic slopestyle qualifying event at Copper Mountain. If you haven’t heard yet, Chas Guldemond won the thing and our boy Billy Morgan smashed it as well with a fifth place finish. Chuck G was understandably stoked with the result and with a cab 1260 and and a backside 1260 under his belt he’s looking rather formidable in these early stages of the qualification process. We’re also treated to some wise words from the New Hampshiran – something about how the X-Games now being part of the World Snowboard Tour is a big step for mankind? We’re not so sure Neil Armstrong and co. would see eye-to-eye on that with you Chuck but we certainly applaud your enthusiasm…

What’s with the sombre black and white intro of random Air and Style footage at the start of this edit? Not-so-subliminal messaging for the upcoming Air and Style in Innsbruck perhaps? And is it just us or was the interview with Stale Sandbech at the end a little random in the context of this as well?
