Spring Break Snowboards is ex-Pro rider Corey Smith’s creative outlet and is a collection of rad handcrafted wooden boards. Each is totally unique – and many are pretty out there (if we’re being honest)! From giant coffin shaped numbers to ones with multiple cut-out sections in the tail, each totally rideable board is designed to be a piece of ‘functional artwork.’ Check out the weird and wonderful shapes that made it into the 2011 collection on the Spring Break Snowboards website.

Here’s a beautifully shot and produced edit of Corey Smith and the Spring Break Snowboards crew getting some fresh powder lines up at Mt. Bachelor.  The edit was shot and put together by Kevin Castanheira who also produced the super artsy ‘Sooner or Later’ trailer/movie. We’re really loving this one: the soft lighting, the laidback tune, the pow turns and slashes, the crunchy sound of day-old powder and of course those super rad snowboards – damn, is it winter yet?
