Rowan Biddiscombe is one of a whole crew of UK shredders who have quit the cozy environs of Mayrhofen this year to head across the pond and base themselves in the shred paradise that is California’s Lake Tahoe. Here, he and his housemate, the Dutchman Ricky Martens (with an ‘e’ not an ‘i’ – he must get that the whole time the poor bastard) take advantage of Northstar’s legendary park to have themselves a hell of an opening day. Damn, don’t you wish parks in Europe could be this good from the start of the season? I’m guessing we’ll be seeing a fair bit more footage from Tahoe’s expatriate Brits this year…
