We managed to spend a day with Dom Harington and GB Park and Pipe team up-and-comer Lewis Courtier-Jones in the Les Deux Alpes halfpipe at the start of the month. Given that it was a low-tide winter that bled into a warmer than average summer, the pipe was in surprisingly good nick, good enough at least for the pair to get in some stylee hits on the frontside wall.
Early mornings, beautiful clear skies and an almost totally empty pipe – what more can you ask for?
