Here’s Thirty Two’s edit from the annual Hot Dawgz and Handrails that recently went down at that most jib-centric of resorts, Bear Mountain (where else right?). Bear, as we all know from watching their hammer filled full length movie, certainly know how to build some innovative features. Hot Dawgz and Handrails is always distinctive in that it kind of resembles a park (think, grass gaps and foliage) crossed with a farmyard (shitloads of hay-bales scattered about the place). This year’s setup certainly didn’t buck that trend with enough animal fodder about the place to feed a small horsey army and an interesting setup including a massive wallride, house roof box thing and of course, a few handrails here and there.
Aside from Spencer Shubert‘s brilliantly awkward introduction, there’s some solid, albeit fairly run-of-the-mill (at least compared to some of the previous events anyway) riding here from the likes of Spencer, Dylan Alito, Chris Brewster, Jordan Small, Jaeger Bailey and Brandon Hobush. Loving the song in this one too – a b-side from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory perhaps?
