This French chap would have been a prime candidate for a Darwin award.

Watch as he ventures off the piste into an area he clearly has no clue about, (on a rental board) before unstrapping his board, loosing his footing and plummeting over a load of rocks and off a sizeable cliff. It’s gut wrenching stuff.

The fact that he doesn’t even put a turn in on the entire face suggests he’s probably better suited to blue runs rather than thinking himself the successor to Xavier de le Rue.

How he survived that fall totally baffles us but thanks to the winning combination of idiot and GoPro we have some pretty remarkable footage to show for it.
