Elena Hight finally toppled Kelly Clark off the top of the halfpipe podium, where she has stood at the last 16 events on the trot. Ironically it was in Kelly’s home state of Vermont, at the Burton U.S. Open 2012, that she finally tasted defeat. Elena did the honours with this run:

3rd place Ellery Hollingsworth can’t match Kelly for amplitude, but her style’s among the finest on the circuit. If she goes a bit bigger she could be the one to beat. Compare and contrast below:
