We’ve just got back from four epic days in Laax, Switzerland where many of the world’s best riders flocked from far and wide for the 14th edition of the Burton European Open. Overall, the competitions were once again a massive success, despite some challenging weather conditions which ultimately resulted in the cancellation of the slopestyle finals.
Here’s a wrap up video from what would have been slopestyle finals day. With the events being called off for the day the riders (and ourselves) had little choice but to go and shred powder. What a tragedy… Don’t miss Aimee Fuller’s best Norwegian accent at 1.04 and a few of the hits from the men’s semi finals a day prior that saw Torstein Horgmo claim the win by default. Is it just us or does Torstein look like he’s about to burst into tears when he’s talking about finals being cancelled?
