The UK’s Jamie Barrow has had a pretty busy six months. Already on our radar as part of the British Snowboardcross team, Jamie made headlines when he set the official British snowboard speed record in Verbier at the tail end of last season.
He then went on to set a first ever world speed record for snowboarding indoors. But none of that is quite as mental as this video he just tweeted to us with a suitably cryptic explanation…

They look like something Q-Branch might have given to Bond back in the Roger Moore era don’t they? Exactly what Jamie plans on doing with them we’re not sure, but a quick Google search revealed they have been used by a skier before, so we’re guessing something similar?
Either way, we can’t wait to see the resulting video. I mean snowboarding + jet engines has got to = fun right?
