Last week at Spring Break, we were graced with the presence of some true snowboarding royalty.
Ok, so it wasn’t like Shaun White had jumped onto his private jet in the hope of scoring some extra medals in our Whitelines Rail Jam, or Louie Vito had rocked up to the Pfiffalm in his dancing shoes… Nope, this was way better. Tarquin Robbins, the 90’s freestyle legend whose style has inspired riders from Scotty Whitlake to JP Walker and who was picked up by Capita, Union and Deeluxe last year, was taking laps through the park. Thankfully, Deeluxe filmer Peter Rossner was on hand to capture some of the action on camera.
Calum Paton, the young British rider (and Guiness world record holder) who shares the same sponsors as Tarquin had the pleasure of joining him in the Kaunertal slush and is looking as solid as ever in this edit – maybe that timeless Tarquin style was rubbing off?
