Splitboard supremo Forrest Shearer has had a busy time of it lately. Armed with his snowboard and his surfboard, he’s been travelling the globe chasing unforgettable sessions on both.

Along for the ride are Jeremy Jones, Josh Dirksen and Bryan Iguchi, as well as a glut of big-wave surfers. He’s documented everything in his new series, Horizon Lines – and here’s the trailer.

The whole thing has been beautifully shot by Nick Kalisz, with Andrew Miller (whom you may know as the man who captured much of Jeremy Jones’ adventures in Nepal) on stills duty. Taking in Iceland, Chile and Japan, Horizon Lines puts travel and adventure at the forefront.

As is often the case with such things you need a hefty tolerance for chin-strokey voiceover. It’s worth it, however – this looks like it’s going to be epic.
