After introducing themselves to the locals – we’re treated to another unmistakeable confirmation of Roope Tonteri‘s skating prowess as the crew handle a dual seafront skate/surf session in Durban. Roope storms the landlubber’s spots while Marko tackles the waves – reinforcing our deep feelings of ineptitude as only the multitalented can.

Then, just when you think you’ve settled-in for a summer-sports special, it’s off to neighbouring Lesotho (country number 2) which plays host to something a bit different. If you’re not familiar with Afri-Ski – get an introduction here. A single strip of well maintained snow acts as a mecca for locals and visitors alike – and in a fairly relaxed comp we get to see both parties strut their stuff. Dual hits from Roope and Marko round things off for Episode 1 – and damn they’re good…
