When a snowboard movie is shot entirely on 16mm film and titled ÉTRANGE MÉLANGE one might expect some sort of overly artsy, high-brow flick consisting of mostly b-roll and very little substance. But thankfully, that’s not the case here.
The new film from Gnu is packed with great snowboarding and even better vibes. Park laps, pond skims and more pillows than the bedroom department in IKEA – this one has it all and perfectly encapsulates the feeling of those extra special days riding with the homies.
