Urban snowboarding of the Dan Brisse variety, with all its stomach-churning roof gaps that bet the farm on the reliability of a bungee chord, is insane. So is this new video from Levi LaVallee – but in an entirely different way.

The multiple X Games champ took his steed to the streets of his native Minnesota (which is also Brisse’s home state, as it happens), hitting massive ramps and drops scattered throughout Saint Paul.

We recently predicted that chin-strokey voiceover is on the way out – and if we’re right, then this video represents the death throes. “Society’s cruel tentacles” are the villains of this piece, apparently.

It’s all a bit reminiscent of one of those punk bands that goes on and on about how much they “live on the edge” – but the bit at 2.58 is less “Fuck The Police”, more “Mildly Vex The Police”. Top acting from that particular copper, by the way.
