When Aspen Rain Weaver, Nial Romanek, Nate Haust, John Jackson, Tim Humphrey and friends announce that they’ve dropped their latest project, you know it will be good. The colourful crew hits us with a variety of treats from both the backcountry as well as the parks at Sierra-At-Tahoe and Boreal – a nice little breeze of fresh air to help us keep sane during these trying times.

The crew takes a slightly different approach to moviemaking, resulting in an edit that could be described as ‘snowboarding with a social consciousness’. Quoting Mr Weaver himself, they are just a group of friends who base their lives around travel, unique experiences, their community, the environment, and obviously, snowboarding. Sounds pretty alright if you ask us.
Snowmosapiens Episode 1 reminds us of the importance of a community and togetherness and highlights how small things can make a difference – whether it was giving the local kid in the park a high five or checking in with a mate.
This is the first of a bunch of webisodes leading up to the full film that will be dropping this upcoming fall. Make sure to keep your eyes open for the upcoming episodes.
