Simple but strong words from Robin Van Gyn, ones that form the basic underpinnings of all avalanche safety – wanting to have the best time possible with clothes on, but also wanting to keep yourselves and others safe in the process. Whilst there isn’t much in the way of actual practical knowledge in the video above, the end quote is a great reminder of why it’s so important, without being all scary or preachy. Get learned!
