Damn! It seems like it was ages since the Holy Bowly went off in Park City – in fact it was but ten short weeks ago! Enough time it seems for Think Thank to spend some time making this edit look nice, refreshing to see in these days of Instagram and next day event recaps. Moments and instants get lost in the noise, but now we get to have a proper look into the weird of this most hallowed of contest.
Jesse Burtner not only gets behind the camera and editing suite for this film but gets some sweet screen time in front of the lens too, busting out sweet moves like the Madonna-seatbelt (we think) at 2.24.
And if you thought that was a tricky trick to name, most of the shots here are just riders going with the flow, man. Gapping, airing, sliding, training, penguin-ing, tripoding, crashing, slashing and ripping through the burmed and banked course.
Amongst the general mayhem we managed to pick out Jamie Lynn, Tim Eddy, Forest Bailey, Max & Gus Warbington, Ted Borland (with a sick cross-rocket cat ears grab!), Tucker Andrews and Kent Callister, but look hard enough and you’ll see many, many more of the Gnu and Lib Tech team bundled in there.
In summary: the rad trad skate style shooting of Think Thank combined with the chaos and madness of the Holy Bowly – how could you go wrong?
