In our eyes at least, Lonnie Kauk has been (literally) flying under people’s radars as of late. You may remember the Mammoth mountain local in Standard Film’s TB20 and more recently in this rather good Hoppipolla team edit but his recent exploits have gone largely unnoticed. Until now.

LK1 is Lonnie’s new web series has been shot with the help of Gordon Yould who worked on 2012’s Pretty Wise, produced by People Films.

With a psychedelic Wild West themed opening, the first LK1 episode offers a wealth of big, floaty, back country hits typical of Lonnie’s smooth style.

LK1 also showcases some of Lonnie’s crazy climbing skills, proving that come sun or shine Lonnie is always at home on the mountain.
