Nitro snowboards have just released their latest team movie SPIKE. A no-holds-barred snowboard film that showcases Sam Taxwood, Bryan Fox, Dominik Wagner, Iris Pham, Nils Arvidsson, Mateo Massitti, Jordan Morse, Nick Miller, Tom Tramnitz, Hunter Goulet, Griffin Siebert, and more tackling every handrail and backcountry booter they can find in Sweden, Finland, Japan, the USA, Canada, and Alaska.

The movie is beautifully shot, and could hold the record for the most animals featured in a snowboarding movie. Clocking in at 30-plus minutes, it’s far from just another flick — this is a proper snowboard movie, delivering everything from back-country dream turns to gnarly back-lips in the streets.
And some of those handrails are straight up murderous.
Personal highlights include:
- Ludwig Billtoft bringing out some old skool style that feels like we’re watching an old Nico Müller part.
- Nils Arvidsson going on a personal mission to hit spots that are ITCHING to hook the board and claim a collarbone…
- Iris Pham’s part is fucked up good. Heavy spots, big tricks and style for days. It would be a career defining part for many, but Iris makes it look like just another day at the office. No notes.
That’s enough hype — hit the link below and enjoy the film yourself.
Did you notice a bunch of the team riding the same board? That’d probably be the Alternator — and we love it too. Both the men’s and women’s versions took a coveted place in our list of the best snowboards.
