Arbor Snowboards | ‘Month of Mark’

Mark Carter drop his full part ‘Month of Mark – Unzipped and Rendered’

Mark Carter, or ‘the snowboarding cowboy’ as he also goes by, has just dropped his full edit together with Arbor Snowboards ‘Month of Mark – Unzipped and Rendered’. The 3-minute-edit is a picture-perfect reflection on Mark as a snowboarder as it takes us through the breathtakingly beautiful backcountry of Jackson Hole and Austria’s Zillertal while accompanied by some sweet country tunes.

“From riding with legends like Jeremy Jones to having your own toothpick sponsor, Mark Carter is definitely a breath of fresh air in the snowboard scene”

This cowboy hails from the small town of Ten Sleep in Wyoming – and when we say small, we mean a population of fewer than 300 people. Born and raised in the outdoors, Mark grew up as a third-generation rancher, in a town where the idea of making it as a pro snowboarder was seen as a mere myth amongst his 23 other high school classmates. However, after given a snowboard by his mum at the age of ten, Mark took it upon himself to bust the myth – and we’re happy he did.

Mark Carter is known for riding big lines and navigating his way through terrain most of us wouldn’t dream to tackle. He landed his first film part back in 2008, and since then, he’s starred in a bunch of major snowboard films including doing a trip through Montana’s Crazy Mountains together with non-other than Jeremy Jones and Robin Van Gyn.

From riding with legends like Jeremy Jones to having your own toothpick sponsor, Mark Carter is definitely a breath of fresh air in the snowboard scene. We’re stoked to see what will be next for the guy.

If you’re keen to get your hands on Mark’s gear, he’s riding the Arbor Clovis Snowboard and the Arbor Cypress Bindings in the edit.
