The Vans Hi-Standard Series promises no quad-corking spin to win madness, just good old-fashioned style for miles snowboarding. No spins over 720 or inverts are allowed during the big air session, so riders have gotta delve into their trick repertoire and bring out their most stylish moves. This is where we’re gonna see lofty backside 180’s, cranked out methods and Bloody Dracula’s galore.

The Series has 12 stops around the globe, with the grand finals taking place at Brighton Resort, Utah at the end of March. Each stop on the tour will crown a regional MVP, who wins an all-expenses paid trip out to the Brighton bonanza to battle it out to be crowned overall MVP. The tour kicked off in Canada and spans the globe from South Korea to Russia hunting for the most stylish riders.

All those taking part can grab on the spot cash prizes for the ‘Van Doren Rail Best Trick’ and can win the coveted ‘Dillon Ojo Award’ or pull out all the stops with a meaty slam and walk (or possibly get wheeled) away with Worst Bail. With over $50k in prizes up for grabs, you know riders are gonna be throwing absolute hammers to take home their slice of the pie.

Global Vans team riders will be hanging out and riding at each stop, as well as a pop-up House of Vans shoe customisation workshop with a local artist.
