Scottish Freestyle Championships coming to Cairngorm

What are you doing on Saturday 22nd March? If you hail from north of the border, the correct answer is ‘heading to Cairngorm for the 2014 Scottish Freestyle Championships.’

The richt-swelterin’-the-noo slopestyle discipline will be the name of the game, so expect a high quality course to be built on the Ptarmigan to determine which Scot’s on top.

Last year’s event was a massive success, with Fin Bremner and Vaila Chapman bagging the overall Best Rider crowns. With the improved snow conditions, the 2014 event will no doubt be bigger and better; and with BBQ, prize giving and afterparty happening at the famous Old Bridge Inn (one of the best post-shred bars to be found anywhere in the world), you can guarantee the weekend will be one not to be missed.

Registration is easy and can be done online here, where you’ll also find all the official info you need. Be sure to check out the event’s Facebook page too. Mon yersel!
