John Bishop and Terry Alderton are among the world-class comedy acts taking to the stage at Mayrhofen, Austria this spring for Altitude Comedy Festival.
Now in its eighth year, Altitude will be pulling together their winning combination of live comedy acts and snow from 31 March to 4 April 2014. Spend your days shredding followed by an evening of live comedy among an intimate audience of just a few hundred people.
We made our way down earlier this year and had a blast. With John Bishop headlining again alongside raucous Eastenders comic Terry Alderton, it looks set to be another awesome event. Irish funnyman Tommy Tiernan will be swapping the Hammersmith Apollo for the stage at Mayrhofen, alongside Daniel Sloss, the youngest ever comedian to perform a solo season, and amazing ventriloquist Nina Conti.
Guaranteed the booze will be flowing, spring snow to be tracked (we hope) and bellies aching from one too many gags. Jimmy Carr was there last year – and what was his advice to comedy/snow lovers? “Go!” Well, you heard the man.
