Nicolas Müller is a true snowboarding legend. Starting his career in the halfpipe, he’s now known the world over for his original approach to backcountry riding. You only to have to watch one of his countless video parts to understand why the man is in pretty much every snowboarders’ top five riders of all time.
Nico made his mark in the early noughties in Absinthe films where he’s bagged timeless parts in movies like Futureproof and Neverland. He’s also been the go-to guy for chin-strokey voiceover – 91 Words For Snow, Snowboarding For Me, The Art Of Flight, For Right Or Wrong and countless other seminal shred films all feature his distinctive Swiss drawl.
After years as part of Burton’s Global Team, he moved over to GNU Snowboards in 2014. Off the hill he lives a very eco-friendly lifestyle and serves as president of the Breathe Foundation, a non-profit environmental organisation.
