Jamie Nicholls

Pegged as the future of British snowboarding since he was just single digits of age, this young Yorkshire-ite has gone from strength to strength over the last double decade. Lapping the dryslope since the age of 8, he made waves on AIM Orange Series which attracted his then team mate David Benedek to come and film with him in Halifax for the 2007 film In Short.

That put Jamie on the map, and since then he’s only got bigger and better. He was a standout at the Nike D-Pad session in Norway, and scored a massive win at the Burton Tokyo Rail Days in 2011.

Slopestyle is is specialty, and a respectable 6th place finish at the 2014 Olympic Games showed he can battle with the big guns. However, he’s just as handy in the streets. In fact, he’s a strong all-rounder and a top character – which might be why he got the documentary treatment in 2014…
