Down at Snow Park NZ, our Antipodean cousins are getting ready to kick off finals of the very first Burton High Fives contest, which will see riders such as Mark McMorris, Seb Toots, Danny Davis, I-Pod and Hannah Teter spin, huck and stomp tricks on their snowboards in a bid to win their share of the bulging $80,000 prize purse. Opensnowboarding.com will be streaming the event live but unfortunately for those of us in the UK, it all kicks off at 11:15pm – not a particularly convenient time, but what the heck, it’s the weekend soon anyway! The pipe finals would be perfect post-pub viewing we say… Slopestyle is set for tonight while pipe will go down on tomorrow.
