The coolest film festival in the UK has been scheduled to take place in Brighton in November, offering shred heads from around the country a chance to see UK premieres of some of this seasons biggest movies.

Taking place over two days on November 26th to 27th, the festival will feature whole mix of films, from big budget productions featuring superstar riders to smaller, independent films.

Topping the bill will be Standard Films latest offering Black Winter which features the riding of Andreas Wiig, Eric Jackson and Torstein Horgmo among others, and looks like its gonna be an absolute belter. Alongside this there will be a plethora of smaller films and a competition which will showcase the best amateur talents.

As the first of its kind, the UK Snow Film Festival is breaking new ground – this won’t be a conventional, ‘sit still in your seats and clap politely’ film fest. No, the organisers have promised that we can expect a festival-like atmosphere, with beer, wine and food throughout the night, as well as various competitions and giveaways. Following the films – which start at 6pm each evening – there will be a banging after-party with big name with big name guest DJs. Sounds perfectly suited for snowboarders eh?

With all this being offered for just £15 for two day passes or £10 for a single (with discount rates for students) this looks to us like a deal, a steal and possibly even the sale of the fucking century. In fact, Whitelines was so impressed by the whole idea that we’ve decided to get involved ourselves.
