A few weeks back now, team Whitelines, consisting of myself Craig Scrivener (Advertising Manager) and Ed Blomfield (Editor), were lucky enough to attend a press afternoon at Nike Town in Central London. The occasion was the launch of the Nike 6.0 Mogan Trainer into the I.D collection – a group of products which you can pay extra to customise with your own crazy colourways.
Ed and I got to design our own limited edition pair of Nike 6.0 Mogan kicks, along with a Nike 6.0 backpack and T-shirt. For some reason the computer wouldn’t let us put any swear words on the back, or the word ‘Adidas’ – we can’t think why? Check out some of the designs below.

The Mogan is the preferred trainer of the UK Nike 6.0 snowboard team, including Tamworth’s own Chris Keightly, who was also at the event to say hello and of course design his own personalised pair of shoes – so if you see Chris out and about across the UK or the worldwide mountain ranges this winter be sure to look at his feet and check out the design he came up with (then ask him why it’s not as cool as our designs).
The launch was wicked fun and now anyone who has a few quid to spend can pop into Nike Town or click onto the Nike I.D website (nikeid.com) to get creative for themselves.
So far we’ve only been given a pair each of these bad boys but we’re hoping to twist the arms of the Nike guys into giving us another couple which we can pass on to some lucky readers, so watch this space for further information!
