Jamie Anderson and Emil Ulsletten win Mini Creative Use of Space Slopestyle at Burton European Open

http://mpora.com/videos/IwfQe7kp7 It’s been a pretty damn good week for Jamie Anderson. Not only did she win the women’s slopestyle and pick up valuable TTR points in the pipe at the Burton European Open, but also won the Mini Creative Use of Space (CUOS) award for her victorious slopestyle run. This result netted her a cheeky further $5000 on top of her CUOS win at the Burton Canadian Open last month, not a bad payday. She won the award for a big lipslide on the wallride and then a front 3 over the Mini wall.

In the men’s category, it was Norwegian Emil Ulsletten who was deemed most creative for his alleyoop front 270 onto the wallride followed by a front 1 5050 front 3 out. A pretty solid run but would it have beaten Jamie Nicholls’s use of the Mini features, which included a massive rodeo over the car? We are thinking not…

The Mini Creative Use of Space award is a concept that is in it’s second year and offers park shapers on the Burton Global Open series a chance to compete between themselves to come up with the most creative feature for the slopestyle course, which the riders can then themselves get creative on.
