Hemel Hempstead snowdome has just asked us to put the word out that their freestyle course will not be its usual glorious self this evening. A technical problem with their piste basher means they haven’t been able to build their usual kickers and other combos, so their will only be a few rails on the slope.

The park shapers said: “Last night the piste machine broke and as a consequence we will have no snow features tonight. On the slope there are 3 rails, two boxes, the ribbed gas pipe a rookie jump and two yellow gas pipes. I repeat there will be no kicker or other large snow features. We are absolutely gutted to be telling you this but its out of our control, please check out the photos on our Facebook page before making the journey.”

We’re as gutted as everyone else, but at least you can’t say you weren’t warned. Here’s hoping they get everything back up and running asap.
