Altitude Comedy Festival, the event that brings the cream of the UK’s stand-up talent to the alps every winter, has added several massive new names to it’s already banging line-up.
Al Murray most famous as The Pub Landlord, will be joining John Bishop as a co-headliner, a happening the festival is predicting will be “the biggest thing to happen to Austria since the Sound of Music.”
It’s the biggest thing to happen to Austria since the Sound of Music.
Meanwhile Scottish comic Fred MacAulay, three man comedy act Pappy’s and Rainer Hersch will also be doing sets.
Now in its fourth year in Mayrhofen, the event is one of the highlights of the Austrian resort’s packed events calendar, alongside the likes of Snowbombing. Having been the past couple of years, Whitelines can vouch that this is one sick event.
So if you like to have a laugh after a good day’s shredding, then get involved and get yourself tickets to what promises to be the funniest thing to happen on the slopes this season. They’re also selling day tickets so even if you’re just out there on a regular holiday (or one of the many British seasonaires out there) you can still get in on the fun.
