With barbecue, DJs, a miniramp session and even a rare appearance of the Aberdonian sunshine, Garthdee’s inaugural Go Big Or Go Home comp couldn’t have gone much better. Here’s the edit from the day, courtesy of Grant Anderson.
The top spot in the men’s event went to local lad Nathan Sim, who made good use of the drop-in ramp to launch monstrous rodeos and back 7 nosegrabs put him well clear of the rest of the pack. Meanwhile Vaila Chapman took the girls’ title thansk to some supper-smooth stalled frontside 3s.
All in all it was a fine addition to GBOGH Glasgow, and one we definitely want to see again next year.
