Too Hard is a women’s snowboard project completely run by women snowboarders. They aim to put more confidence into women’s snowboarding. They want women and girls to be fearless and go for what ever they want no matter what anyone says. Haters gone hate.
Enjoyed the last few years of the all girl Too Hard film series? We have. Putting a new spin on female riding they – in their own words – “are not separating ourselves from the boys, we want to grow along side them.”
Since 2012’s Too Hard, Danyale Patterson and her crew have been re-defining how women’s snowboarding is presented – warts, broken bottles and all. That bled into the next year’s Still Hard and the soon to be released Tres Hard, all released online for free.
Now, presented alongside a ‘fallen angels’ slam section from the forthcoming movie they’re after some dough via Kickstarter to make next year’s movie. Not a rare move in these days of crowd-funded live streams, but one that stands out for it’s unique array of contributor rewards.
For $10 you can get hold of a ‘picture of an injured jibgurl,’ but they get better from there. $200 gets you dinner with the rider of your choice, whereas $420 will get you into the next movie itself!
