Whitelines topical? Hardly, but this week’s Friday Find was too good an opportunity to miss.

ALS – also known as motor neurone disease or Lou Gehrig’s disease – is horrible. Really horrible. Luckily, the latest internet sensation akin to last year’s #nomakeupselfie phenomenon are the ‘ice bucket challenge‘ videos you’ve probably seen floating around your feed over the last week or so.

The rest you probably know, but the viral sensation has so far raised over $41 million for the ALS Association as well as raising awareness of a disease than many knew nothing about.

However, tipping a massive bin full of icy water over your own or someone else’s head is trickier than most would think, resulting in these brutal, awkward and hilarious clips above.

Watch them, have a giggle, then head over to www.alsa.org to read up on ALS, and maybe even give them some money.
