We’ve had a few edits from young guns submitted over the years, but it’s rare that they show as much potential as this one from eight year old Anthony Leyva.

First off, just look at the caliber of parks this kid is hitting already – Breck, Keystone, Mammoth and Bear to name but a few, he’s obviously comfortable stepping up and throwing down. Confidence is always a sign of good things to come from a grom.

Then there’s the tricks themselves: cab and front 5s, back threes on to boxes, backlips, and front 2-7s off, this kid has a trick bag way bigger than his years would suggest.

But although it doesn’t feature too prominently in the edit, take a second look at that triple kink – 5050 it may be, but that’s some balls and skill right there! Props little dude, can’t wait to see what you’re chucking this time next year.
