So this morning we got this message through from one Jordy Ortega:
“Hey Whitelines,
This spring I moved into a small A-frame at 8700 feet of elevation at the end of Big Cottonwood Canyon in the Wasatch mountains. I worked 6 days a week at night on the building maitenance (sic) crew at Brighton Resort. Although the only things I maintained were poop and pee from getting to solidified on the toilets. This edit is of park riding during spring of 2014.”
How could we not pass this on to the rest of the world? Especially after actually watching the video above, how sick is this guy’s style?
A super laid back approach combined with some pretzely-twisting tech; he’s got that magical combo of both looking like he’s right on the edge but at the same time letting everyone know he’s in complete control.
Like the back 1 to 5050, switch back 3 out at 1.40, or the the front blunt tail grab immediately after; super loose but both with huge stomps at the end.
Living like a bum in cramped seasonaire digs can be frustrating at times, especially when you find yourself defrosting crap for the privilege, but from the looks of it Jordy had an awesome winter in Brighton, it was all worth it in the end eh?
