With the news today that tickets for Kate Bush’s London shows sold out in less than 15 minutes, it got us thinking about that classic British snowboard movie, Proper:
Made by Lockdown Projects (aka Tim Warwood and Adam Gendle) back in 2004, and distributed for free through The Snowboard Asylum, the movie was one of the first major showcases for British freestyle riding. Scott McMorris, Johno Verity, Nate Kern and Ryan Davis are among those with banging parts, and there’s also the first of Lockdown’s signature medleys; an epic starring Jenny Jones, Garry Greenshields, Tyler Chorlton, Hamish McKnight and many more.
What’s the connection to Kate Bush, you ask? Well, her song ‘Wuthering Heights’ is the soundtrack to Danny Wheeler‘s ender, starting at the 41:42 mark. That’s it really – enjoy!
