Once in while, there’s nout wrong with lowering your impeccably high-brow taste in film and culture to sit down with a good old crappy slasher/monster movie. You know exactly what’ll happen (a group of vivacious, attractive twenty-somethings go on holiday to get loose before being graphically picked off one by one by a mysterious being that turns out to be a genetically mutated shark/phirana/giant octopus/anaconda/nazi zombie etc. etc.) but nevertheless you can’t help but revel in the crappiness of it all.

Saying that, we reckon this 2011 film has hit a new low of crappiness. Other than having one of the greatest movie titles ever, Snow Shark: Ancient Snow Beast looks about as good as a panto put on by retired librarians. Even the trees have more life in ’em than these guys. Still, they’ve done alright considering their budget of approximately 20 dollars.

It’s a genuine slice of comedy cold though and we’ll be seeking this one out as a prime alternative to wasting our lives away looking at cats on Facebook. If someone could send us it on DVD we’ll love you forever.
